This is an informative, interactive, thought-provoking workshop. Bringing together different parts of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including investors, banks and entrepreneurs, to interact and educate attendees to adopt the entrepreneurial frame of mind.

As convener of the Lagos Angel Network (LAN) , Tomi Davies is an angel and business mentor. He is the CEO of TVCLabs, and sits on the Boards of Sproxil, Baas Online Properties, MBO Capital, Strika Entertainment, TechnoVision Communications and PeoplePrime. Co-Founder of Jumia

Raphael Afaedor is a serial-entrepreneur domiciled in Lagos, Nigeria. Raphael founded in 2011, a daily deals website in Nigeria, which he made defunct in 2012 after co-founding in order to fully focus on Jumia. In the capacity of co-Managing Director, he grew Jumia to be a hugely successful and the largest e-commerce website in Sub Saharan Africa with over 1000 employees and thousands of orders a day and brought on blue chip investors including JP Morgan and MTN, all within 20months of launch. In Jan 2014, he resigned from his role as Managing Director of Jumia and is now working on his next venture.

Raphael holds an MSC in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering from the Czech Technical University where he graduated best foreign student, a Masters in Marketing from IUKB, Switzerland where he graduated with the best thesis work, an MBA from Harvard Business School and was the co-chairman of the 2009 Harvard Africa Business Conference.

He has began his career in where he rose to be senior manager in charge of Software Product Development for 18 Western European countries. He then had a career in banking at Goldman Sachs in London as an Investment Associate. He subsequently spent time at Notore Chemical Industries in Nigeria where he was the Head of Marketing & Business Development West, Central & North African nations including Nigeria.

Founder of Freeme Digital

Michael is the founder of Freeme Digital is the premier 3rd party digital distribution company in Nigeria with a growing array of artists, comedians and content owners from across the region using the platform. Freeme Digital has signed landmark digital distribution agreements with International and local distribution platforms in order to further develop the content monetization opportunity within the creative sector.

Before Freeme Digital Michael was the founding CEO of iROKING Ltd (part of the iROKO Partners family). iROKING was set up to re-organise Nigerian music distribution online via its proprietary streaming/download platform Whilst CEO Michael grew the business to 150+ managed Youtube channels, delivering on average 20 million video views a month, striking partnership deals with social and mobile networks across Africa.

In 2011 Michael oversaw the initial iROKING content acquisition effort, signing 50 of Nigeria's biggest artists to landmark digital distribution deals and successfully renegotiating subsequent deals in 2013 before founding Freeme Digital.

Michael is also currently a Spark.Ng nominated Investor/Director of Nigeria's first online urban fashion website

Iroghama Ogbeifun is an entrepreneur, speaker and philanthropist, and has wide-ranging business interests including manufacturing, security, training and consulting. She holds a BSc Degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts and an MSc in Public Health and Health Promotion from Brunel University, London.

Ms Ogbeifun is the Winner of the first Season MTN's the Next Titan, an entrepreneurial reality show which was watched across sub-saharan Africa. She was highly praised for her resourcefulness and tenacity in the face of daunting opposition and has continued to demonstrate this in the world of business.

She is the Executive Director Eaglewatch Security Limited, a provider of private uniformed guards and dog services. She is also the CEO of Hairven Hair Products, a company which manufactures a unique blend of serums and solutions for hair extensions and natural hair. Her research in hair care takes her to Los Angeles and Johannesburg where they are manufactured and shipped to Nigeria.

Iroghama has a passion for issues relating to women and youth and travels around Nigeria, speaking to various groups about the values of hardwork and perseverance in business, and how to unlock the entrepreneurial spirit. She is a candidate for the World Economic Forum Global Shapers and continues to look for ways of mobilising funding and support for her philanthropic endeavours.
